This week TravelTalkMEDIA is making the official announcement that executive producer and host, Sandy Dhuyvetter will be traveling with American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) Destination Expo to Marrakech, Morocco, February 26 – March 1.

Sandy will present to the attending travel agents best practices to successfully work with Moroccan travel suppliers.

Sandy said: “I consider this assignment to be a tremendous privilege. Even in 2001 at the start of our broadcasting the Travel Talk radio series, we adopted the ASTA byline that without a travel agent you are traveling alone. We believe this to be one of the core messages of our programming. Morocco is a unique destination filled with welcoming people, incredible food and some of the best shopping in the world. The country is closer to the US than many might believe and in many ways. As close as London to NY, Morocco is only 6 hour by air from the east coast of the US. Most importantly, the American Moroccan relationship is a model of cooperation and admiration. Morocco was the first country in the world to acknowledge the USA as a sovereign nation in 1777 and currently there is a trade agreement that is strongly in place with a US Embassy in Rabat a strong ally.”

ASTA is gearing up for the conference by offering attendees affordable accommodations in host city Marrakech, the gateway to discovering Morocco.
