Reunion Island Tourism (IRT), in conjunction with home airline Air Austral, partnered yesterday with Belgian tour operator Uniclam in the city of Ghent to invite twenty of their leading travel agents for the launch of Uniclamโ€™s new brochure and for an evening dedicated to promoting Reunion Island. Uniclam, with over 1,000 sales outlets across Belgium, is of key importance to Reunion Islandโ€™s tourism marketers, and years of cooperation have paid off by many Belgians now visiting the island.

Anne Lauret Payet was at hand to showcase Reunion Islandโ€™s many attractions to the invited agents, and two lucky raffle winners will be visiting the island courtesy of Air Austral and enjoy a free hotel stay and destination services.

Reunion Island has positioned itself as both a beach holiday as well as an adventure destination which offers active holidays for hikers, bikers, and thrill seekers, who can do rafting, abseiling, canyoning, paragliding, and diving among many other options to explore the great outdoors of the island.
