Korean-based Asiana Airlines, which flies from Seoul to San Francisco once a day with a 295-seat Boeing 777, is expected to lose about 15 billion won ($13.64 million) in revenue as a result of a suspension, Korean wire service Yonhap reported without citing a source.

According to Reuters News, the South Korea’s transport ministry has decided to suspend Asiana Airlines Inc’s Incheon-San Francisco route for 45 days. This was decided to honor victims at a plane crash this ariline had in San Francisco in July 2013. Three people were killed, the plane was a total loss – all due to a pilot’s error.
