NEW YORK, NY – JetBlue Airways and Veterans Advantage Inc. announced today an exclusive 5% discount for Veterans Advantage’s VetRewards Cardholders. VetRewards Cardholders may also enroll in TrueBlue, JetBlue’s reward program for loyal fliers, and will be eligible to earn TrueBlue points with their discount. The offer is valid on JetBlue travel to over 86 destinations in 24 states and 17 countries in the Caribbean, South America and Latin America.

“Through our new partnership with Veterans Advantage, JetBlue is honored to offer a discount to veterans and military families. This is just a small token of our appreciation for the brave men and women who put their lives on the line to protect our freedoms. Not only will we provide a 5% discount to veterans and their families traveling on JetBlue, we will also waive our $25 service fee when Veterans Advantage members call JetBlue to book their travel.” said Mike Elliott, senior vice president, people, JetBlue Airways and U.S. Army Veteran.

Redeeming JetBlue savings benefits is simple and there are no blackout dates. To book their 5% discount on JetBlue travel, Veterans Advantage members can call JetBlue reservations at 1-800-JETBLUE (538-2583) and identify themselves as a Veterans Advantage member by providing their unique Member ID from the face of their VetRewards Card.

“Veterans Advantage is led by Vietnam Vets who are fully committed to never again let the nation forget a generation of our warriors and their families who have served and sacrificed for our freedoms,” said Scott Higgins, Co-Founder & CEO of Veterans Advantage and Vietnam Veteran. “We are passionate about our mission of greater recognition, respect, and rewards and grateful for JetBlue’s support. We feel privileged to be selected as their military partner.”

Founded prior to 9/11 in 1999, Veterans Advantage is a key partner to many large corporations who are dedicated to honoring service with new benefits for those who serve our country. As the first universal military ID built to safeguard Veterans’ privacy, Veterans Advantage has been protecting and verifying new benefits for service members for nearly 15 years as a way to show the gratitude and thanks they deserve. To also recognize the support and sacrifices made by our military families, the VetRewards Card is offered to the spouse, father, mother, brother, sister, son, or daughter of a U.S. service member or veteran, living or deceased.

“Today, Veterans Advantage is a powerful reminder for our nation to thank those who serve everyday. We succeed thanks to our trusted brand-name partners like JetBlue who are proud supporters of Veterans Advantage, and create new military offers securely verified with the VetRewards Card,” added Higgins. “Our partner companies recognize and reward those who serve and their families everyday with Veterans Advantage discounts.”

For the past 10 years, JetBlue has been awarded highest honors in airline customer satisfaction among low-cost North American carriers by JD Power & Associates, an industry leader in consumer satisfaction surveys. JetBlue has further shown its gratitude for the service and sacrifices made by our military and their families by recently donating a new USO Airport Center at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), the first in a New York area airport in nearly a decade.
