Carib Aviation has announced that it will suspend all service at 11:59 p.m. local time on Tuesday, September 30.

Following Carib’s announcement of the suspension of its operations, Liat was obliged to discontinue its marketing of Carib (“3Q”) seats.

They await further announcements from Carib or the authorities regarding Carib’s future operations and the servicing of the Barbuda and Montserrat routes by other carriers.

Even though Liat’s aircraft are unable to operate into these airports, Liat remains willing to assist where it can and has agreed to provide services to Nevis.

Carib received several resignations from pilots within the past few days, and as a result of this loss, were forced to suspend service. Most of those pilots have been actively recruited by Liat.

It is strongly recommend passengers contact Carib Aviation to make alternate travel arrangements where necessary.
