SkyWest, Inc. reports April 2015 traffic for SkyWest Airlines and ExpressJet Airlines

ST GEORGE, UT – SkyWest, Inc today reported 3.04 billion in available seat miles (ASMs) for April 2015, compared to 3.16 billion in ASMs for April 2014, or a 3.9% decrease. SkyWest also reported 104,634 in departures for April 2015, compared to 114,616 for April 2014, or a 8.7% decrease. SkyWest had 176,711 block hours in April 2015, compared to 189,226 block hours in April 2014, or a 6.6% decrease.

SkyWest also reported 2.51 billion in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for April 2015, compared to 2.62 billion in RPMs for April 2014, or a 4.1% decrease. Load factor decreased to 82.6 percent in April 2015 compared to 82.8 percent in April 2014. SkyWest also reported 4,756,594 in passenger boardings for April 2015, compared to 4,954,134 in passenger boardings for April 2014, or a 4.0% decrease.
